University of Wyoming Extension Educator Scott Hininger says the field has been narrowed for a new 4-H educator for Sheridan County. Two candidates were interviewed recently, and he hopes one of them will be offered the job in the next week or two.

The extension educator will not be disappointed by selection of either one. He said this was probably the best pool of candidates for the 4-H position that he has ever seen.

He added he would like to have the new 4-H educator start by July, in time for the start of this year's Sheridan County Fair. The university began taking applications for the position in February, after then-4-H Educator Jerrica Lind resigned.
