The 3rd Thursday street festival in downtown Sheridan continues to grow, as large crowds of locals meandered through downtown to take in the sights and sounds of the night. Something new to Thursday night's festival was the 1st annual Blue Ribbon Cook-off, where nine participants tested their cooking skills on a 16 oz. cut of rib-eye.
The winner of the event was Bill Heide, who explains that a little TLC is what allowed him to claim first prize.
Heide received $500 for his award winning steak. The next and last 3rd Thursday street festival will take place in downtown Sheridan September 17th.
