Three years ago today, 13-year-old Big Horn student and friend, Lane Goldhammer, died in a car accident. This Sunday for the third year, friends and family will gather in his memory to go bowling.

Goldhammer's friend Ryan Carlson is a junior at Big Horn High School now, and he tells us why they bowl to remember Lane.

The event, scheduled for 1 to 4 pm Sunday, October 16th at Cloud Peak Lanes in Sheridan, will raise money for the Lane Goldhammer Memorial Scholarship that is awarded to a Big Horn High School graduate.

Key chains marked with "LTG 69 Always and Forever" will be given out to those who donate.

UPDATE: Along with the bowling, there will also be a silent auction, thanks to generous donations from various businesses, and other games for people to enjoy.

$1,200 was raised for the scholarship at last year's event.
