35th Dayton Days Set For This Weekend

A cow pie-themed 9-hole golf scramble will kick off the 35th annual Dayton Days this weekend in the 10th annual Cow Pie Classic on Thursday. A myriad of events will continue throughout the weekend including live music, competitions and plenty of food. Co-Chair of Dayton Days, Kathy Alley, talked about changes to this year's event.

This year's headline musical performance will be Chris Hilllman and Herb Peterson at 8 pm Friday night under the new bandshell in Scott Bicentennial Park. The Craft Brothers will begin the concert. Dayton Mayor Bob Wood talked about the headline musicians.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $20 online at the WYO Theater website or in person, or in Dayton at the Town Hall or the Community Center. Kids under 12 get in free.

9:45 am - 4th Annual Dayton Days Mile Run
10 am - Parade on Main Street
