The annual Fireworks Extravaganza at the Big Red at Ucross will be Sunday, July 3rd from 5 pm until the fireworks are over.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the fireworks show, and there will be more reasons than just our independence to celebrate, according to Sharon Dynak, Executive Director of the Ucross Foundation.
The new park and chapel are located at the intersection of US Highways 14 and 16, just before the Big Red, whether coming from Buffalo or Sheridan. The park stands on nearly 9 acres of land that once was a salvage yard, and will be open from 5 to 7pm.
In addition to the fireworks at dusk and the park, visitors can tour the art gallery, featuring works from 22 different artists entitled “In The Presence of Trees” from 5 to 8pm, and also check out the numerous vendors that will be on site and participate in games as well.
Entertainment will be provided by Jalan Crossland from 7:30 to 9:30pm.
The cost for the Fireworks Extravaganza is $2 per car, and proceeds will go to the Arvada Community Church.
