The 2nd annual Keystone Awards to benefit the Sheridan Senior Center was held before a packed house Thursday night at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.

The awards ceremony honors individuals who've given countless hours of their time throughout the years to help make Sheridan a better community. Those honored Thursday evening were Dippy King; Joe Laughton and Mary Ellen McWilliams. The ceremony also included a special tribute to the late Reverend Raymond Clark. I caught up with the honorees shortly following the event to find out how they felt about being a Keystone Award recipient.

Here are their comments in order of McWilliams, Laughton and King.

All of the proceeds from the Keystone Awards will be used to benefit the various services and programs that the Sheridan Senior Center offers.
