26-Year-Old Wright Woman Dies In One-Vehicle Rollover

A one-vehicle rollover accident resulted in the death of a 26-year-old Wright woman when she was ejected from the 1997 Chrysler van she was driving early Monday morning just north of Wright.

In a media release from Highway Patrol Sergeant Stephen Townsend, it states that Tanya L. Husmann was southbound on Highway 59 three miles north of Wright in Campbell County when her van went off the right side of the roadway and struck the guardrail. According to the release, troopers aren't sure why the van initially went went off the road. After hitting the guardrail, the vehicle went back onto the roadway and while in a broadside slide struck the guardrail again and overturned once. It came to rest in a west side barrow ditch.

Husmann was not wearing a seat belt and was totally ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene.

The crash occurred at about 7:59 am Monday.
