While the final count of attendees isn't in just yet, volunteers at the 22nd Annual Community Holiday Dinner say it was by far the best year ever. The Holiday Inn Convention Center was packed full of people enjoying a free meal and volunteering to help support the event. Even Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance.

Jeff Foster, program development officer for Rehabilitation Enterprises of North Eastern Wyoming, volunteered at the holiday dinner.

Ashley Schreinert was there helping to distribute food to the many attendees.

Event organizers say that last year, more than 1,200 people showed up for the holiday get-together. This year, donations from the community helped to provide over 150 gift bags to disabled adults, more than 300 gift bags to children and of course supported feeding more than 1,300 people.
