Results In for Stars of Tomorrow

About 60 local youth tried out for the annual Kiwanis “Stars of Tomorrow” competition, with 27 finalists performing Friday night.

The first and second place winners will now compete on March 29 in Riverton for the Division Show.

The third place winners are reserves, ready to go if either of the top two in their division can't, for some reason, make it. The winners of the Division Show go on to complete in Loveland, Colorado, on April 26.

The resluts are posted below.

Division I: First – Bae-John Heyneman, Violin, “Perpetual motion;” Second – Maui Orum, Vocal, ”Let It Go;” Third – Henry Craft, Vocal, “Count On Me.”

Division II: First – Tate Batemen, Vocal, “I See the Light;” Second – Blaine Johnson, Piano, “Linus & Lucy;” Third – Karson Vielhauer, Monologue, “Sleepover.”

Division III: First – Logen Livingston, Vocal, “Amazing Maysie;” Second – Mallory Arneson, Vocal, “Don’t Rain On My Parade;” Third – Taylor Greig, Tap Dance, “Golf”

Division IV: First – Lachlan Brennan, Piano, Beethoven's “Moonlight Sonata;” Second – Natalie Magera, Vocal, “Everything;” Third – Ellison and Janika Sweeney, Vocal Duet, “Made In the USA.”
