The first regular snowpack summary of the water year was released Tuesday, and things are looking good for the Tongue and Clear Creek drainages. Natural Resources Conservation Service District Conservationist Brad Holliday.

Holliday says that aside from both drainages being in good shape for this time of year, there's another positive aspect that should be noted.

Holliday indicated that snowtel readings as of February 1st on the other major basins around the state show that all are in excess of 100%, with the highest reading on the Upper Bear at 139%. The report summarizes data taken from January 26th, through February 1st.
