Sheridan Media's 14th Annual Christmas Wish kicked off Monday, and wishes for those who may need a little help this holiday season will be accepted until December 9th.
Sheridan Media's Jim Schellinger tells us a little about the program.
Wishes can be submitted either online or by mail, but must be in writing. Contact information from the person submitting the wish is mandatory because the committee may have follow-up questions. Those submitting wishes and the recipients of them remain anonymous.
Schellinger says that volunteers are also an important part of the process.
Wishes can range from tangible gifts, as Schellinger mentioned, all the way to things like paying for car repairs or utilities. Last year, 56 wishes were answered in some form or another.
Submissions will be accepted until Friday, December 9th at 5 pm. For more information call Jim or Margo at 672-7421.
Community partners this year include Culligan of Sheridan, Heartland Kubota, First Federal Savings Bank, Atlas Chiropractic, and Radio Shack of Sheridan.
