“STICKS AND STONES” WILL COMMEMORATE CLASSES AT SHERIDAN COLLEGE

Sheridan College has been recognizing distinguished alumni for several years now. How fitting that one of those alums found a way to honor all students that have attended the college for the past 60 years. Maurice Campbell was a member of the first graduating class at Sheridan College in 1949. Debi Isakson from the Sheridan College Foundation tells us about Campbell’s idea.

In addition to Campbell’s tree donation, stone markers will be placed near trees on “Alumni Way” to designate each decade or class. The Foundation plans to raise funds to purchase a tree and stone marker for each future class at the college. Roy and Nancy Garber donated the nine original stone markers to the college.
