Dave Simonsen, Director and CEO of the Kaycee/Buffalo/Johnson County Economic Development (Joint Powers Board) in Buffalo, came before the Johnson County Commissioners at their Tuesday meeting, asking for permission to use some of the funding they have set aside to replace the roof on the Bomber Mountain Civic Center.
Sheridan College in Johnson County has been building their Johnson County Endowment Fund over the last two years, with Sheridan College allocating $25,000 to the SCJC campus in 2013 for endowment purposes.
The City of Sheridan is continuing the Snow Route Alert tonight and requests that all cars and vehicles be removed from the street by 10 this evening so that crews can remove snow throughout the overnight. A list of the streets that will be affected has been attached below.
Employee partners of the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation ate breakfast, signed up for door prizes and voted on how they wanted their donations to the foundation spent on Tuesday morning. Employees who donate to the foundation contributed about $25,000 this year.
