Sheridan College

Sheridan College held a Basketball Clinic for girls grades Kindergarten through Eighth that was held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm in the Bruce Hoffman Dome. the class was taught by Coach Frank McCarthy and the Lady Generals were present to help work with the girls. The cost was $50.00 and each participant received a basketball.

Hundreds packed the Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall Saturday night to "Beat the Winter Blues." Exact numbers for attendance and fundraising are still being tallied. For the full story, click here.

Tied no longer at 6-1 are the Sheridan Generals and Casper Thunderbirds. The Generals cooled off the hot Thunderbirds Wednesday evening with top notch shooting - 28-points from Frederic Dure, 22 from Victor Bermudez and 13 from Ron Mvouika. Tate Stensgaard had 6-points before going down hard in the second half - leaving the game with a bum right arm.

Sheridan's Lady Generals, ranked number 17 in the country, now stand at 17 - 4 following Wednesday's Region IX win over the visiting Casper Lady Thunderbirds by a final score of 62 to 50. Milomilo Nanai led the way for the Lady Generals to lead all scorers with 15-points, followed by teammates Jasmine Davis with 12 and Josie Three Irons with 11.
