On a hot last day of August on the grounds of the Sheridan VAMC at Fort Mackenzie it was freshman Mikah Sweeny to come in first during the 5th Annual Running of the Michelle Ludwig Invitational Crosscountry Meet. In the varsity meet Sheridan's top runners were Kyle Dietsche who finished in 9th place for the boys and Katie Rotellini who finished in 19th place for the girls.
In a losing cause Friday night in the 100th meeting between the Casper Natrona Mustangs and the Sheridan Broncs Gunnar Edeen hits a 51-yard field goal out of the hold of Kameron Eckard with 5.44 to go in the 1st half. The kick by Gunnar gave the Broncs their first home field points of the new season.
