Sheridan Broncs

On a cool, wet Thursday evening the Lady Broncs opened Conference soccer play at home on Scott Field against the Campbell County Camels. The Lady Broncs held the Camels to one goal in the first half thanks in part to defense like that shown here where Sheridan's goalie Jacey Repisis with help from #14 Afton Bateman successfully defended the kick by Gillette's Brittney Lacek.

This last Saturday March 26th the Sheridan Bronc track team went to Cody to compete in there first meet as a full team. All the athletes went out and competed as hard as they could to set there marks to beat later in the season. The Cody invite also has other incentives to do well. If they were JV the athletes that won their event got a free T-Shirt.

Friday evening with the rain pouring down on Scott Field Sheridan's Jake Moore is a victim of a slick field as he takes the ball toward the goal. Jake and the Cody defender, #15 Carter Nielsen, collide as Jake slides down while kicking with the goal insight. The Sheridan Broncs went on to beat the Cody Broncs 1 to 0.

Monday evening the Harlem Ambassadors took to the hardwood at Sheridan College against the Hometown Heroes in a fund raiser for the Big Horn Christian Elementary School of Buffalo. Hometown Hero J.G.

The Sheridan Broncs traveled down to Casper this last Saturday March 19 to attend the Early Bird Invitational. This meet is the first of the outdoor season and the team did great. The meet was a challenge mostly do to the wind. The wind blew steadily around 30 miles an hour with gusts going up to 40 for the majority of the day.

Sheridan's Steph Sessions, Kayla Woodward, Hailey Ligocki, Raith Durham, Riley Ryan and Dexter Currington were named on Monday to the 4A East All-Conference Basketball Squad. For more: http://www.sheridanmedia.com/spo...

With 17.8 seconds to go in the 2011 State 4A Girls Championship Basketball game in the Casper Events Center Saturday evening Sheridan's Lady Bronc Noelle Gollinvaux hits a free-throw to tie the game against the Gillette Camels at 63-63. Ten pairs of eyes on the court watched as did every eye in the Events Center as Noelle's shot hit its mark.

This year the indoor track meet was held in Gillette. Sheridan athletes were able to compete on probably the best track in the state at the rec facility there. With this great facility came great accomplishments by many of the athletes. The one that really took the spot light was Senior Dylan Morin. Dylan competed in the 800, 1600, and 3200 meters.
