Big Horn Rams

Following a great run by Ram Scott Passini Big Horn's Quarterback Connor McCafferty keeps the ball runs left and dives into the end zone with Bronc Austin Burkett on his heals for the first score with 3:17 to go in the 1st quarter against the Burns Broncs Friday afternoon at Big Horn.

Sheridan Fire-Rescue, Sheridan Police Department, and Rocky Mountain Ambulance responded to a vehicle fire in the 2400 block of North Main at 7:15 pm on Thursday. The fire involved a 2000 Dodge 1500 4x4. The engine compartment of the pickup was fully involved in fire on arrival. Fire also damaged the interior or the vehicle. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Gilead Fire now spans 4430 acres 10 miles northwest of Buffalo and eight miles southwest of Story. The fire, as seen here from the HF Bar Ranch and UM Ranch, was started Aug. 14 by lightening, but has grown exponentially in the past week. (Photos by Michelle Jensen)

On Friday afternoon at Big Horn the Thermopolis Bobcats were threatening to score near the 8-minute mark of the 1st quarter when their quarterback Kaden Haun looked like he had a "for sure completion" to his receiver Zach Larson in the end zone on what would have been the first score of the game.
