The Wyoming Coaches Association has announced the All-State Volleyball Award Honorees for 2012 that includes five from Sheridan County: Bailey Roebling from Arvada-Clearmont, Brynne Gardner from Sheridan, Gracie Goldhammer & Jadyn Mirich from Big Horn and Sarah Nielson from Tongue River.

On Friday afternoon early in the 2nd half Ram quarterback Connor McCafferty hits his wide receiver Matt Wigglesworth who ran the ball past defender #20 Cody Kascoli and spun around defender #2 Trever Simpson into the end zone to run the score to 41 to 0.

Already up 20 to 0 Ram quarterback Connor McCafferty hits Will O'Dell who covers up the ball before getting knocked out of bounds by Newcastle's Danny McMahon. The long catch and run by O'Dell set up yet another score by the Rams before the first quarter would run down. Friday afternoon's 55 to 0 trouncing of Newcastle wrapped up a perfect regular season for the Rams.

On Friday afternoon in Dayton it was no match as the unbeaten #2 ranked Big Horn Rams trounced the winless Tongue River Eagles 49 to 8. The TD's came early and often - this one near the 4:50 mark of the 1st quarter was a hand off from Connor McCafferty to Scott Passini. Scott took the hand off, plowed through a trio of eagles, burst into the open at the 40 and ran in for the score.

The #3 ranked Lady Eagles from Tongue River may have arrived in Big Horn by bus but then they took to the air and soared over the Lady Rams in three sets 25-13, 25-16, 25-13. When the final point was scored in the third set the TR players and fans simultaneously erupted in celebration - they had not only swept the Lady Rams on the day but almost on the year.
