Big Horn Rams

The Tongue River fans were out in number complete with props as the number 5 ranked Lady Eagles from Tongue River beat their cross-district rivals, the number 3 ranked Lady Rams from Big Horn Friday evening in Dayton.

Big Horn Senior Katie VanHoosier and Tongue River Freshman Tara Stimpson go up under the Big Horn basket as they battle for the ball Friday afternoon. The struggle continued on the landing with Tara getting help from Taylor LaFrance. The Lady Rams, on their home court with the stands filled to capacity, downed the Lady Eagles 49 to 32 in this cross-district rivalry game.

Tongue River's Stephen Yellowtail had a terrific Friday night with 37 points in a losing effort in part because of the height of Big Horn's 6'6" Colby Wollenman who blocks this shot. The Rams trailed at the half-way point by 4 but came back and won the game 68 to 53. In the earlier game the Lady Rams downed the Lady Eagles by a score of 49 to 32.
