The Student Council and National Honor Society at Arvada/Clearmont school had students and staff K-12 collected new stuffed animals. “We wanted to collect 100 animals by the 100th day of school. Thursday, Feb.

Using $80 of "seed" money Dan Miller, Industrial Technology Instructor, at Sheridan High School purchased birdhouse building materials, conducted safety classes and his students roughed out 30-birdhouses.

Fire at the High School? No, just a 10:30 a.m. March 1st fire drill when the temperature was 10 degrees as the students exited the building.

The curtains may have closed but the memories of the magnificent performance by the cast and crew of "Peter Pan" will linger - no doubt until the next Marva Craft, spectacular. Over 2500 viewed the 5-sell out performances before the curtains closed at 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

These pictures were taken on 2/26/2011 of the elk in the park. My dad, Chris Ehnis, happened to see the elk with the ball stuck on his horns and asked me to come up and bring my camera. The elk was casually laying in the snow...the ball didn't seem to bother him.

Sheridan "Tracksters" took first place in 4-events at the 2011 Sheridan Indoor Track Invite held @ Gillette February 26, 2011. Hunter Vineyard in the High Jump @ 1.57m (5-02.00), Mikala Will in the Long Jump @ 15-07.25, McKenzie Butcher in the Shot Put @ 35-04.25 and Dylan Morin in the 800 Meter Run @ 2:02.09.

At the Big Horn Junction just a day ago this sign read 2.99 and now on Friday it reads 3.09. At the major stations in Sheridan things are somewhat better with the price of unleaded rising but still below $3.00 at 2.99. Sure wish the weather would warm up so I could walk or ride a bike.
