In the first game of the 4A East Regional Girls Basketball Championship @ Sheridan on Thursday Cheyenne East snuck by Cheyenne Central 42 to 36.

Two-time Grammy Award winner, Bill Harley commanded the WYO Stage on Wednesday evening. With his guitar, voice and facial expressions he opened his show and wowed the audience with "I Don't Wanna Wait" followed by many more of his selections. Bill is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Arts Council with funding from the State Legislature and National Endowment for the Arts.

Wednesday, on the 107th birthday of Dr. Seuss, the man behind the "Cat in the Hat," - the "Cat in the Hat" appeared at the Sheridan Fulmer Public Library. Penny Hotovec of Ready to Learn at Wyoming PBS accompanied Denah McDonald, aka the "Cat in the Hat" into the Inner Circle of the Library to a crowd of youngsters who were eager to meet-and-greet.

Sheridan Ice Figure Skaters Jessica Ross, Jessie Pattison, Catherine Winnop, Elizabeth Winnop, Kairstyn Holden and Katelyn Kayser wrap up their season by taking to the ice one more time for the 2nd Annual Ice Show. Their Coach Emily Emond says the free Ice Show is an opportunity for the girls to showcase their talents in front of a home crowd.

Using $80 of "seed" money Dan Miller, Industrial Technology Instructor, at Sheridan High School purchased birdhouse building materials, conducted safety classes and his students roughed out 30-birdhouses.

The curtains may have closed but the memories of the magnificent performance by the cast and crew of "Peter Pan" will linger - no doubt until the next Marva Craft, spectacular. Over 2500 viewed the 5-sell out performances before the curtains closed at 5:00 p.m. Sunday.
