Following the grand march Saturday evening at Sheridan High School the Prom Royalty for the 2011 "SHS Prom Masquerade!" was announced with - Kayla Woodward and Cole Gustafson being crowned Queen and King respectively. The 5 and 0 two-time defending state soccer champ Lady Plainsmen came into Friday nights match ranked #2 and took on the #4 ranked Lady Broncs in a Friday night match on Scott Field in Sheridan. On the cold evening the red hot Lady Broncs iced the Lady Plainsmen with three goals in the 2nd half to come away with a 3 - 0 victory.

Friday morning, high school golfers opened play at the Kendrick Golf Course in Sheridan for the Tongue River/Big Horn Invite. The weather was iffy and chilly but the rain held off for the most part and play got underway at 10:00 am. Scroll down to see some of the local golfers in action:

One reason why school buses in Wyoming are required by law to operate with their headlights on is so that they can be seen - it also helps if motorists have good working windshield wiper blades and turn them on especially on days like Tuesday afternoon when the rain was coming down.

On Tuesday SAGE opened the Sheridan Junior High School Art Extravaganza at the Sheridan College Main Street Campus location - 171 N. Main Street. A reception is scheduled for Thursday evening at 6:30 pm. with Tony Sawyer's Jr. High Choir participating. Among the types of art on display until April 29th are sheetrock carvings, pin hole photography, leather, acrylic, marker, oil and paper mosaic.

An artist reception for Dean States was held on Tuesday on the Mezzanine of the Sheridan County Fulmer Library. In case you missed it scroll down to see a sample of his works of art done in colored pencil. The exhibit will be in place until May so drop by and see what can be accomplished with a colored pencil.

This last Friday and Saturday April 1st and 2nd the Wesleyan Church held a conference. Eric and Leslie Ludy are a couple traveling the nation speaking on the topics of love, romance, the other gender, sex, and many other things similar. During the Conference they spoke about how they both had bad relationships until they let God lead them to whoever he wanted them to date.
