The Buffalo Girls ended their basketball season on Saturday afternoon at the Casper Events Center in the runner up position as they fell to the Wheatland Bulldogs 47 - 41in the 2011 3A State Championship game. There were 6-lead changes and two ties in the game but it was the 3rd quarter that proved to be the stumbling block for the Bison- scoring 7 to Wheatlland's 15.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation has named Sheridan as one of its 2011 Dozen Distinctive Destinations - in order to make our area "THE" No. 1 destination you need to vote each and everyday until March 15th when the voting ends. A Thursday afternoon check shows Sheridan trailing Paducah, Kentucky by two percentage points (about 100 votes behind).

The musical this year was a great one. It showed 4 days starting on Thursday Feb. 24 This years musical was on a well known story Peter Pan. This year they did some different things.There were different casts on different nights and the big one that everyone enjoyed was the flying! That's right this year the Musical incorporated flying into there musical to ad more to the musical.

This year the indoor track meet was held in Gillette. Sheridan athletes were able to compete on probably the best track in the state at the rec facility there. With this great facility came great accomplishments by many of the athletes. The one that really took the spot light was Senior Dylan Morin. Dylan competed in the 800, 1600, and 3200 meters.
