Looks like Dave Lawson has hung up his ice skates and shifted over to Whitney Commons where his well cared for crocus are poking through the mulch in front of the Whitney Commons sign across the street from the library. Dave, who works for Sheridan Ice at the Ice Rink during the winter months, is often seen working the grounds of Whitney Commons after the skating season.

Halfway to the finish line with no one around him is Big Horn Junior Matthew Wigglesworth who finished the 300 Meter Hurdles in first place at the 2012 NSI Academy Twilight track meet held Thursday afternoon. Matthew's time of 43.45 is a new personal best beating his old PR of 46.25 set a year ago at the Tony Lehner Invitational in Glenrock.

In overtime of Tuesday night's soccer match between the Sheridan Broncs and the Buffalo Bison this header by Sheridan's Jake Moore gets past Buffalo's goalie Neil Medders for what looked like a proper score to many. However Jake was called for reckless play and was given a yellow card. The goal was revoked and the game eventually ended in a 2-2 tie - thus preserving Buffalo's unbeaten season.

The Sheridan City Council approved a resolution at Monday's meeting that will change (make) parking along the north side of 4th Street diagonal to alleviate parking congestion for some of the nearby restaurants.

The count down is underway on the far left as Kay Roush in her red Ambassador jacket; Bruce Pryde, Parks Advisory Committee; Mayor Dave Kinskey; Jason Baker, City Project Manager; Ambassador Rod Trahan stand behind RENEW's ribbon cutter Jeff Mock.

With less than 8-minutes to go in a windy and hard fought battle Sheridan's Senior Hunter Reece would not be denied as he drove toward the goal and kicked the ball past Buffalo's Junior Neil Medders for the first score of the game. It was not quite enough as Buffalo responded in kind with less than 3-minutes to go in the game. It was tied at one all at the end of 80-minutes.

Sheridan Senior Macey Reid appears to want to go north while Buffalo Freshman Bre Hepp wants to go south, with the ball lodged between them, in the early game of a double header between Sheridan and Buffalo on Scott Field Tuesday. It was the unbeaten, 8 & 0, Lady Broncs taking on the, 3 & 2, Lady Bison.

Recently three Sheridan Bronc wrestlers were among the 29 Wyoming High School wrestlers who competed at the National High School Coaches Association National Championship Tournament in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Each wrestler eyed winning All-American status and four from Wyoming did including Sheridan's 195 lb Sophomore Cody Delk, 16, who came away with a 5th Place All-American status.
