During the last quarter of the 20th Century this "Bronc Bus" transported Sheridan High School's finest.

Broadway adjacent to the CO-OP is closed, as this Wednesday photo shows, for a re-do of the concrete street surface and sidewalk because of a water line break beneath the road surface. Once the concrete is poured a seven day cure time is needed before the street will be reopened. The goal is to have the street totally back in service before the Memorial Day Weekend.

The flags at the Police and Sheriff's Department as well as many others around Sheridan were at half staff on Tuesday as a reminder for all Americans of the service of our safety officers who work on a daily basis protecting our citizens, enforcing our laws and keeping our neighborhoods safe.

In Saturday's high noon showdown in the Regional Soccer Championship game between the Sheridan Broncs and the Cheyenne Central Indians it was all Sheridan 3 to 0. It was almost a foursome of goals scored by Sheridan starting on the left with Riley Ryan's first half goal, then came his second, the post head injury goal, near the 26:30 mark of the second half.

The Sheridan Broncs dominated the high noon Saturday showdown trouncing the Cheyenne Central Indians 3 to 0 to capture the "Championship" of the East Regional Soccer Tournament.

At precisely 11:00 am Saturday Ashley Daniels raised the shutter to officially open the Kendrick Park Ice Cream Stand for the 2012 season. Junior High School 6th grader Thomas Detmer was first in line and ordered the huge lemon meringue cone you see on the right. Inside helping Ashley on opening day was Presley Legerski. Judging from the early turnout the stand is off to a great start.
