A full moon is rising over the Big Horn Equestrian Center east of Big Horn where in just 24-hours, on Wednesday evening, the only fireworks show in Sheridan County will be taking place. The near full moon on Wednesday mixed with the fireworks by Bruce Burns should make for a great aerial display as we celebrate Independence Day 2012.

Ready for deer hunting season? This nice buck was seen on the southwest corner of Main and First Street just waiting to be shot - by a camera - or just for enjoyable viewing. Tuesday morning Don Hauf, the City of Sheridan Traffic/Sign Supervisor and his crew - Ross and Justin - were installing Sheridan's latest sculpture.
