No Water - No Problem, you can always "Pony Surf" as jockey Colby Rockroads of Team Roundstone from Busby, Montana appeared to be doing in heat four of Wednesday evening's World Championship Indian Relay Race. The Indian Relay Races are definitely a crowd draw and pleaser - and a little pony surfing can't hurt the ratings. For many more photos see: http://deerrungraphics.com/

Two time World Champion Indian Relay Race jockey Luke Rock of the Rock Relay Team from Lodge Grass, Montana had a rough go in the Wednesday night 3rd Heat finishing in third place. Luke had a poor start and a trouble filled start of the last leg to cast doubt of a three-peat champion run. Luke was first in both 2010 and 2011.

Tyrell Smith from Great Falls, Montana aboard Shining Mountain on this ride may have ridden his way into the record book of the Sheridan WYO Rodeo with his ride for a score of 89. Tyrell was the last Saddle Bronc Rider Wednesday evening during the First PRCA Rodeo Performance of the 2012 Sheridan WYO Rodeo.

The sun setting beyond the tepees located just south of the Exhibit Hall at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds on Tuesday evening. The tepees serve as a reminder that the World Championship Indian Relay Races are on tap Wednesday evening as the first running of the PRCA Rodeo Performance is set to kick off at 7:00 pm. Wednesday is Kids Night (Kids 12 & Under $7.00).

Competitors wait anxiously for their turn in the ring. This morning's slack competitions drew a small crowd, but the stands will be filled for the main event tonight. (Photo by Tracee Davis)
