On a windy Saturday the No. 2 Broncs took on the No. 1 Plainsmen from Laramie on Scott Field in Sheridan. The Broncs had their heads in the game, game faces on, legs in the game, a size advantage, some close scoring attempts but the cards just didn't fall their way as Laramie managed to score one near the 5-minute mark of the 1st period to secure the win.

It took just two minutes on Friday evening for Senior Drew Slikker, on senior night, to score his first goal of the season as the 2nd ranked Sheridan Broncs downed the No. 3 Kelly Walsh Trojans on Scott Field - a field that was covered with 3-inches of snow earlier in the day. The win sets up the biggest game of the regular season for the No.

Despite the winter like weather in Sheridan Jacey Repsis, Hailey Ligocki and the rest of the Lady Broncs boarded the bus Friday morning for the last regular season soccer road trip. The Lady Broncs have a game at Laramie on Saturday at 10:00 & noon. Then it will be the game against KW that was postponed because of the weather until Tuesday at 6:00 pm in Casper.

Under perfect weather conditions athletes ran, threw, vaulted, jumped, putt, hurdled and dashed at the 2011 Dan Hansen Invitational Track Meet Thursday. In the first running event of the day the Sheridan Girls took home 10-points in the 4x800 as Lauren Buyan, Erin Jensik, Monica Neavill and Katie Rotellini took first place.

Eight High School football players from Sheridan County have been selected to the 2011 Shrine Bowl North team rosters. Selected to the North team starting roster are: Michael Klepperich, Wyatt Mirich and Nelson Alzheimer of Big Horn and Kyle Hutchinson, Dawson Osborn and Zach Will from Sheridan.

The Sheridan Broncs jumped on the Campbell County (Gillette) Camels twice in the first 10-minutes Tuesday night and never looked back as they made it three wins in a row. The final score seen here came midway through the 2nd half when Colby Wollenman took control of the ball, punching it past Camel's Brandon Swan and goalie Jordan Rueschoff. On a day marked by sunshine and warmer weather for a change the Sheridan Broncs notched their 2nd win in as many days as they shut out Cheyenne Central 4 to 0. For their first score near the 27:30 minute mark of the 1st half Riley Ryan passed to Kurt Price right in front of the goal but Price's shot was blocked by Central's goalie James Segrave.

Sheridan Bronc Senior Zack Will kicks this ball in for a score at the 3:17 mark of the 2nd overtime period on Thursday night against the Cheyenne East Thunderbirds to put his team up 3 to 2. Cheyenne couldn't respond in the final 3:13 and the Broncs came away with the win over the 4th ranked Thunderbirds.
