On Friday afternoon the Sheridan Lady Bronc Swimmers & Divers took on Cody and Riverton in the pool for the last home meet of the season. Sheridan beat Riverton 134 to 44 and Cody 118 to 66 thanks in part to Whitney Migrants 1st Place in Diving - where on this dive she earned scores ranging from 5.5 to 6.5 for a final score of 212.80.
After dropping the first game 29 to 27 the Big Horn Lady Rams came back strong and defeated the Lady Bison from Buffalo at home on Thursday evening 3 games to 1. In the second game it was all Lady Rams as they downed the Lady Bison 25 to 6.
On their first play from scrimmage, after having stopped the Camels on their first drive, Bronc Senior Kameron Eckard hit Senior Daniel Sessions with a short pass that Daniel ran 67-yards into the end zone for the first score in the 35th Energy Bowl on Saturday in Gillette. The extra point kick by Bronc Nick Gill was good to make the score 7 - 0 just a minute and a half into the game.
With just seconds to go in the first half Bronc Senior Nick Gill pounds his way through a quartet of Tigers to just get into the corner of the end zone to put his Broncs up 18 to 0. Nick also kicked the extra point to make it Sheridan 19 - Rock Springs 0. Both teams were scoreless in the second half as Sheridan now stands at 5 & 0 while Rock Springs sinks to 0 & 5.
