Kilpatrick Creations player of the game, #23 Jordan Roberts, scored 14-seconds into the game against Cheyenne South Friday evening and then followed with another 5-touchdowns for a total of six before #21 Nate Kane, #10 Kevin Bakkehaug and #11 Jonah Lehmann added three more for a total of 9-TD's on the evening.

Under what renown rodeo announcer, Jim Thompson called "Glorious Weather" Monday afternoon, Wyoming Cowboy J.J. Butler followed up his first bronc ride of 71 with this one for a 72 to win the 23rd Don King Days Bronc Riding Title.

Monday's Don King Days kicked off at 11:00 am with the Don King Days Championship Polo Match between Little Owl and the No Trees. The No Trees team in white was leading 10 to 8 going into the final chukker when Joe Wayne Barry - seen here driving the ball to the goal - turned on the heat and scored three goals to give his team an 11 to 10 win.

What a Labor Day weekend of roping steers it was for Dave Sedar of Casper. Dave was the only roper of the 25 at the 23rd Don King Days to have a time in all four go-rounds that concluded on Monday afternoon at the Big Horn Equestrian Center.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon at the 23rd Don King Days, Henry Collins boarded his bronc the old fashioned way - rode for 10-seconds - bailed off between pickup men Cody Cunningham and Jim Smith - and had the top score of 64 on the day. After two go-rounds in the steer roping Casey Tillard leads with 15.5 & 14.4 for 29.9 on the day.

Under perfect weather conditions the Sheridan High School Boys Varsity Cross Country team of: Michael Rotellini, Kyle Dietsche, Chris Garber, Taylor Bruso, Jordan Ligocki, Paul Stadick and Chris Romanjenko were off and running at the gun in the 2011 Michelle Ludwig Invitational 5000 Meter Run held on the grounds of Fort Mackenzie Friday afternoon.

One bright spot on a dim Friday afternoon was Ram Lucas Wollenman taking the ball away from Greybull's Austin Frazier at the 12 on a Greybull kick early in the first quarter. Big Horn couldn't capitalize on the resultant good field position as Big Horn's offense continued a string of turnovers for Greybull scores. In the end it was Greybull 38 - Big Horn 6.

On the first day of school at Sheridan High School it was also tennis time on the local courts as the SHS Tennis team took on Casper Natrona Tuesday starting at 3 pm. The Lady Broncs took to the courts first with Natrona's Regan Hendricks on the left taking on Sheridan's Noelle Golinvaux on the right in the #1 Singles.
