Phase I of the Wyoming/Park Area Reconstruction is underway. The contractor is removing trees throughout the project area on Burkitt St., Wyoming Ave. and Whittier St. - the trees shown here are in the 100 block of Wyoming Avenue. At present traffic is being detoured to Park and Whittier Streets to allow for the tree removal on Wyoming Avenue.

The results are in and 34 year old Trevor Brazile of Decatur, Texas is the Sheridan WYO Rodeo All-round cowboy for 2011 with a purse of $5, 873 for his arena work in team roping, tie-down roping and steer roping. Trevor made history on December 3rd, 2010 by winning his 8th All-Around World Title at the Wrangler National Final Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada.

For the second year in a row the 2011 World Championship Indian Relay Race goes to Luke Rock of the Rock Relay Team from Hardin Montana.
