Weather information indicates that Sheridan set a record for the maximum rainfall yesterday, October 7th, when 1.79 inches fell breaking the old record of 0.59 inches set in 1993. The 1.79 inch rainfall also breaks the all time daily precipitation record for October at Sheridan. The previous record of 1.60 inches was established on October 30, 1974.
"Fiber Arts 14" has taken over the entire mezzanine for the 14th Annual October show being held at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library. Over 75 entries from mostly local artists are on display until the end of October.

After a grueling, thirsty battle on the courts Friday, Sheridan #3 Doubles Team, Kit Price and Trace Addlesperger, came off the victors carrying eight nearly empty bottles of that ever important liquid on a hot day. Kit and Price dueled Joe Caulton and Tanner Price from Cody in a marathon before finally winning 3-6, 7-6, 7-4, 6-4 to advance to the Consolation Winners match on Saturday.

Fall started at 3:04 am Friday in Sheridan and the fall color is definitely "Pink" - at least at Sheridan High School. The "Broncs are all in Pink" tee-shirts are all sold out, as evidenced by the photo, for the 2nd Annual Pink Bronc Day of September 23rd. All funds raised support the Welch Cancer Center as the check for $2,015.00 indicates.
