The Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum hosted the annual Echoes of the Past Cemetery Tours last week at Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo. Locals performed the living history of those who died in the county. This past week a woman of the plains, a mountain man, three pioneers, and three Basque immigrants were portrayed.

The opening scene of "A Piece of My Heart" - the story of six women who served their country in Vietnam. In the beginning, shown here, each woman recounted the reasons for signing up. This production was one of the special remembrances in 2014 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War and was held in the atrium at the Edward A. Whitney Academic Center following dinner on Thursday evening.
