Rain couldn't began to dampen the spirits of the few hardy souls who turned out to hear local speakers Sam Western, Sam Morton and the 67th Army Band in concert at the Powder River Let'er Buck Celebration in Whitney Commons Monday evening.

On Saturday at high noon, "Troxel & Krieger" - Jeff Troxel from Cody and Trevor Krieger from Billings - took to the stage during the 7th Annual Big Horn Mountain Festival in Buffalo in front of an ever growing crowd. Their music filled the ears of those attending in person and live to a radio audience thanks to PBS radio.

Faith Zdziarski, age 2, from Sheridan wants to remind you to get your Sheridan WYO Rodeo tickets soon as Rodeo Week starts July 8th. Faith was recently at the Sheridan County High School Rodeo where she had a front row seat but still elected to lean over the rail to get a better view of her brother, Jeffery Zdziarski who was about to come out of the saddle bronc riding chute across the arena.

It was a fun day, there was food, free pop, chances to try out many different firearms and look thru some quality optics. The weather cooperated and it was sunny and warm for most of the day. They had an exhibition shotgun shooter from Benelli come in and he put on a great show for the crowd!

Thanks,
Curt Santner

Gary Small & The Coyote Bros kicked off the 4th of July evening playing from the deck of the Big Horn Equestrian Center Club House prior to the big fireworks show at 10:00 pm. The weather was perfect, food was in abundance and the music was great as a steady stream of vehicles filled the polo field. For more on the band see: www.coyotebros.net
