On night two of auditions for the 2014 "Stars of Tomorrow" 7-grader Taylor Greig tap danced in golf attire on the WYO Theater Stage. Taylor is competing in division 3 and hoping to get a chance to perform at Sheridan's "Stars of Tomorrow" show later in February.
Five year old kindergarten contestant Jory Githens was a hit Tuesday evening at the WYO Theater with his program "Paws for Applause" in which he showed off his dog's agility skills. Sheridan High School Basketball tipped off the season with a Fun Night that included freshman, sophomore, junior varsity and varsity scrimmages as well as a Lady Bronc Moms' Team v/s a Bronc Moms' Team scrimmage.
The 9&1 Big Horn Rams took down the 8&3 Mountain View Buffalos in the 2013 Wyoming State Football Championships at War Memorial Stadium starting at high noon Friday. Here Big Horn Senior Deven Ibach uses "hands on" to bring down the Mountain View Junior Jake Snow en route to the Rams downing of the Buffalos by a final score of 47 to 22.
The CHAPS 5K Zombie Run was held Saturday. Runners had to run through various "Zombie Zones" and try to preserve their "lives" as they ran through the zombie horde. Zombies were shuttled to the various zones via the Sheridan Trolley, and waited for the runners as they tried to grab as many of their "lives" as they could.
The Sheridan Jaycees hosted a "Halloween Parade" on Main Street, Saturday afternoon. Little ghosts, ghouls, firemen, ninjas, and even some adults, dressed up for the occasion, which took place starting next to city hall. They participated in a costume contest judged by the local fire department, before heading out in various groups to trick-or-treat at local businesses.
