On Saturday evening this shot by Sheridan's Lady General freshman Milomilo Nanai over North Idaho Lady Cardinal Danika Johnson was good to tie the score at 42. Sheridan was down 39 - 30 at the half and mounted a 12 to 3 run for the 42 - 42 tie five minutes into the 2nd half.

In what appeared to be a new event during the 32nd Annual Volunteers of America Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving was the Pumpkin Toss. Here 6-youngsters lined up and on signal launched their pumpkins to see who could throw their's the furtherest. At just after 10:00 am Thanksgiving morning Gene Sturlin, from Sheridan Media, with his left arm in the air signaled the start of the 32nd Annual Volunteers of America Turkey Trot in Kendrick Park.

The 2012 All-State Football Selections by the Wyoming Coaches Association have been announced and Sheridan County has 10-players on the list. From Sheridan High School are: Mitch Goodwin, Cody Delk, Nate Kane and Collin Eisenman - From Normative Services: Kevin Keim - From Big Horn High School: Will O'Dell, Lucas Wollenman, Scott Passini, Connor McCafferty and Matthew Wigglesworth.

Tuesday evening in the Sue Henry Auditorium at Sheridan High School it was all "Jazz." If you weren't there you missed out on some great performers doing some great numbers such as: Nightshift, Bye Bye Blackbird and Brown-Eyed Girl. The 19-member jazz band directed by Diane Knutson kicked off the high school band schedule for the school year.
