In 1945, as he lay in a hospital bed in France recovering from wounds received in the Battle of the Bulge and aggravated by months in a German POW camp, Jim Norton wrote these words to his parents:

Kenneth Torrens, 55, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, November 2,
2013 at his residence.

Kenny was born on March 29, 1958 in Sheridan, WY to parents Richard and Judith (Feleciano) Torrens. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1977. He married Brenda Douglas in Sheridan, WY on August 2, 1980.

Patricia A. Bennett, 69, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Linda Cantelberry, 69, of Sheridan passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at her residence. No Services are planned at this time.

Beverly Putzi, 79, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Sheridan Manor with loving daughters by her side.

Betty L. Alden, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at home with family by her side. Betty was born on September 25, 1942 to A. Thomas and Fern (Hill) Wulff in Fort Dodge, IA. The family moved to Red Wing, MN where she grew up with her five siblings.

Heulah Roseland Dickey Kiser left this life on Sunday, October 20, 2013, not long after celebrating her 102nd birthday. Born on October 3, 1911, she enjoyed her youth on a farm near Chatham, Illinois, with parents Judith and William Dickey, seven sisters, and two brothers. All have preceded her in death except for Ruth Branham of Springfield, Illinois, her youngest sister.

Ruth Clare Kreger, age 87, passed away at Sheridan Memorial Hospital early on Saturday morning, October 19, 2013.
