A celebration of life and time of fellowship will be held for Keith Reynolds, 72 year old Buffalo man who passed away quietly at his home in Buffalo on Tuesday afternoon, will be held by his family at the Big Horn Baptist Church in Buffalo on Friday, June 13th at 5:00 p.m. Donations in Mr. Reynolds’ memory may be made to the Keith Reynolds Memorial in care of the Harness Funeral Home at 351 N.

William J. Laya passed away at the Sheridan VA Medical Center, in the presence of his family, on June 9, 2014. “Bill” was born in Kleenburn, Wyoming on September 1, 1930, the son of Joseph T. and Mary (Michalek) Laya. He was a proud life-long resident of Sheridan County.

Funeral services for Bob Ross, 91 year old long time Johnson County resident who passed away Tuesday at the Pomona Valley Hospital in Pomona, California while visiting his son, will be held Wednesday, June 11th at 10:00 a.m. from St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Buffalo with Father Doug Wasinger officiating. Visitation will be held in the Harness Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m.

Charles Shobe, 89, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Babe Helling, 80, passed away at the Billings Clinic on June 7th, 2014. Babe was born in Sheridan on January 2, 1934 to Clara and Glen Daugherty. She grew up in Sheridan, however her family briefly lived in both California and Montana before returning home to Sheridan.

Philip Gregory Frey, 88, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at the Westview Health Care Center.

A Graveside service with full Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2014, in the Elks Cemetery. A reception will immediately follow at the Elks Lodge.

Nan B. Wertman, 98, of Wolf, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at her residence. She was born on January 24, 1916, in Bala-Cynwyd, PA, to parents Frank E. and Gladys (Campbell) Baker.

Nan came from PA in the early 1930's with her family as “dudes” at Eatons' Ranch, where she met and married her first husband, Billy Eaton. He passed away in 1949.
She later married Roy Wertman.
