Alvin W. Peterson, 89, of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011at his home after a brief battle with stomach cancer. He was born June 14, 1922 near Wilton, ND to William and Edith Peterson. The family moved to Alberta, Canada when he was six. He later moved to Montana and Wyoming where he worked on farms and ranches.

Alvin W. Peterson, 89, of Sheridan passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011at his residence.

Services for Alvin will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall at 2226 Big Horn Avenue. A reception will follow at the Sheridan Senior Center.

John ‘Jack’ Miller, 92, of Sheridan, passed away after a long and wonderful life on Wednesday evening November 23, 2011.

‘Jack’ as he was known by, was born on August 17, 1919 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Fred and Jessie Miller. He married the late Letha ‘Lee’ Miller on November 3, 1938 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Evelyn Ilsley Ebzery was born January 18, 1952 to Judge John and Helen Ilsley in Gillette, WY. The family moved to Sheridan in 1964 where Ev graduated high school in 1970. She attended Stephens College in Columbia, MO for two years, graduating from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Marketing in 1973.

Garry Allan Spencer of Sheridan passed away Friday November 18th at Sheridan Memorial Hospital following surgery.

Garry was born January 12th, 1946 in Muscatine, Iowa to Kenneth and Florence Spencer. He married Patricia Chase and they later divorced.
