Joan (Welsh) Martini, 69, of Sheridan, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2015, at her residence. She was born on July 21, 1946 in Ogden, UT to Bruce and Pauline (Ridenour) Welsh. Joan is survived by her husband Dennis Martini; her brother Jeff Welsh; and her step daughter Peg (Calkins) Martin. Joan retired from Kmart after 30 years of service.
Strong, Caring, Compassionate, Loving, Exuberant and a Real Fighter are a few of the words used to describe Eman Salamat Khan. Daughter, Wife, Sister, Mother, Aunt, Niece, Cousin, and Friend are just a few more. Eman was born with a congenital heart condition and the need for many surgeries including a future transplant.
Long time former Sheridan resident passed away in Minneapolis on Oct. 1st, 2013. No obituary was written at the time. Eunice was born on December 30th, 1934, at home in Sheridan to parents Albert J. Nejedly and Flossie E. (Berry) Nejedly.
She attended Brundage and Coffeen schools and Big Horn and Sheridan High Schools, graduating in 1952. She also attended Sheridan College.
Fred Theodore Fisher, 73, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at his residence. He was born on November 17, 1941, in Harrisburg, IL, to parents Gordon Theodore and Dora (Black) Fisher. Gordon worked for Standard Oil as a dock foreman, and Dora was a homemaker and a prolific crafter. The family moved to Casper when Fred was a toddler, and he attended Casper schools.
