Theodore “Ted” Hammer, 82, passed away at the Veterans Mountain View Nursing Home in Sheridan, Wyoming, on November 18, 2015 after a short illness.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016 at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Heggen Harris. Beverly died on May 14, 2016 from an aggressive form of brain cancer.

Rex J. Davenport, 54, of Sheridan, WY passed away May 19, 2016, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital. Rex was born June 16, 1961, in Oklahoma City, OK to Esther “Mitch” Byrley-Norris and Clarence Davenport. Rex enjoyed tinkering on motors, watching Nascar and listening to country music. Family and friends were the most important things to Rex. He was extremely proud of his children & grandchildren.

Verna Sethman, 74, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at her residence. She was born on June 4, 1941, the daughter of Nis and Signe (Miller) Laursen in Cherokee, Iowa.

Minerva Sanderson, passed away May 15, 2016, she was born on July 10, 1918, in San Antonio, TX, to Angela (Cisneros) and Manuel G. Silvee. She grew up in Galveston, TX; was baptized at Central Christian Church at the age of 12 years. She graduated from Ball High School and enrolled in Droughn Business College where she took secretarial and accounting courses.

Ashley Torres, 29, of Gillette, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016, at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016, at the Big Horn Mountain Eagles on Commercial Lane in Sheridan.

Michael W. McGinty, 65, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, following a long courageous battle with cancer.

Mike was born June 25, 1950, in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to William and Helen McGinty.

He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a degree in forestry and soil management.

Lynn G. Repsis, 97, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at the Green House Living.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Pastor John Craft officiating.
