Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder gave his report to the city council at their last meeting, saying his department will be sponsoring a law enforcement active shooter class this week.

At their Tuesday meeting the Johnson County Commissioners passed Resolution No. 498, which sets the county's elected officials' salaries for the next four years, from 2015 through 2018.
