Local musicians, Nashville songwriters, and Grammy-nominated performers played to a packed house Saturday evening in Buffalo to help the Occidental Hotel celebrate 10 years of their Thursday night jams, and to raise money for their memorial scholarship fund.

Sheridan couples married 50 years or more as well as long-married widows and widowers gathered at Sheridan's Senior Center Saturday night to celebrate their years together over a prime rib dinner.

Sheridan Fire and Rescue pulled trucks out of the bays, gave fire truck rides and provided refreshments, popcorn and cookies Saturday during the department's annual open house at the station on Works Street.

More than 500 people participated in Sheridan's eighth annual The Link: Partners in Pink Run Saturday morning.
