After months of looking into the possibility of getting a better rate for the power they produce, the Buffalo City Council approved an agreement with Pacifcorp, the parent company of Rocky Mountain Power, to sell electricity generated by city facilities back to the company.

Johnson County Commissioner Jim Hicks attended his last meeting Tuesday afternoon, and before adjourning for the day, Chairman Bill Novotny spoke to those present, thanking Hicks for his service over the last four years and specifically to his tutelage of “two young commissioners” over the last two years.
