The arts in Sheridan were celebrated Monday night with a reception in honor of the new show in the SAGE Community Arts Center Gallery as well as the unveiling of Sheridan's newest piece of sculpture at the corner of Main and Brundage streets.

Diners flocked to Frackelton's restaurant in downtown Sheridan again Monday for this month's Dining for a Cause to benefit Sheridan's arts.

Sheridan County Sheriff Dave Hofmeier has announced he will resign from his position effective June 30.

The Sheridan WYO Theater and the Wyoming Wilderness Association will have their annual showings from the Banff Mountain Film Festival Tuesday night at the WYO.

Over the weekend crews from several Sheridan County emergency response teams were dispatched to a report of a structure fire. Captain Gary Harnish with Sheridan Fire and Rescue said there were no injuries reported.

In accordance with the Celebrate the Arts events happening on Sheridan’s Main Street today, the Sage Community Arts Center Gallery will present their new exhibit curated by local artist and teacher Arin Waddell.

Tonight, the Sheridan Public Arts Committee will unveil a new permanent addition to Sheridan’s Main Street. The new piece is an abstract sculpture that will add something to the downtown it didn’t have before.

Spencer Bohren has performed at the Sheridan WYO Theater many times according to Executive Director Erin Butler and he is set to do so again tonight.
