Pancakes, pals and a parade were all part of this morning's rodeo week celebration. Sheridan Media's Leslie Stratmoen was on site and brings us this report.

Judges named the First People's Pow Wow entry, and all related participants, the Grand Prize winner in Friday's Sheridan-WYO Rodeo Parade.

The Cheyenne Frontier Days claims to be the daddy of 'em all, but in- fact the little town of Dayton lays claim as the granddaddy, the show that gave the Frontier Days folks the idea.

Wyoming's Secretary of State Max Maxfield issued a release Thursday reminding voters that the 40-day period for absentee voting for Wyoming’s Primary Election had begun and ends Monday, August 18, which is the day before the Primary.

Chairs standing alone or in groups of two, three or more along the Sheridan-WYO Parade route have become almost as much a rodeo week tradition as any of the events. They start appearing early. Some people set them out starting Wednesday night. More are added on Thursday.
