Many of the new faces in Sheridan County School District 2 aren't new.

At the special meeting Monday morning to appoint someone for the State Senate seat left vacant due to the passing of John Schiffer, all three Johnson County Commissioners voted for Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey.

Buffalo Planning Director Lynn Barrett, in her report to the city council at their last meeting, said Jennifer Haskins of the Buffalo Downtown Association had notified her that the project to protect the mural on Margo's Pottery building had been approved for a grant from the Wyoming Main Street Program through the Wyoming Business Council.

Buffalo's City Council approved a number of catering permit and open container requests for various upcoming events.

In what has been referred to as an historic vote by those involved, Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey was chosen this morning to fill the Wyoming state senate seat left open by the death of John Schiffer.
