The Johnson County School Board voted to allow Sheridan College in Johnson County (SCJC) to lease the district-owned Learning Center Building should the college need to move from its current location at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center.

Johnson County' Commissioners voted to renew the contract for Volunteers of America (VOA) to oversee and run the juvenile justice and detention program and similar adult programs for the county, and approve Chairman Bill Novotny to sign the agreement.

Sheridan County School District 2 trustees voted Monday night to discontinue the district's long-term disability insurance policy effective June 30.

On Friday, June 10th, at the Sheridan College in Johnson County Campus in Buffalo the Home-Based and Small Business Conference and Connection will take place. This Sheridan College event will be from 9am-4:30pm. The purpose of this event is to help home-based, small and direct sales businesses.
