When four inches of rain and hail flooded the brooder houses Friday night at the state Game and Fish bird farm south of Sheridan, a local group rallied to save the pheasant chicks that were housed there. Game official Bud Stewart gave us the details.
A severe thunderstorm moved into Sheridan County shortly before 8 last night, that caused flash flooding throughout parts of the area, and the National Weather Service to issue a flood warning for Sheridan County through noon today.
