A decision to give additional funds to the Buffalo/Johnson County Recycling Center Joint Powers Board for a projected shortfall in funds later this year was tabled by the council, at the request of the board.

One of the candidates vying for the Republican nomination for Wyoming’s lone seat in the U.S. House of Representatives is 55-year-old Rex Rammell, a Gillette Veterinarian. Rammell grew up in the Teton Valley in Idaho, just several miles from the Wyoming border.

The National Weather Service in Riverton released the latest Wyoming Water Supply Outlook Tuesday. According to the report, precipitation in February was 84 to 88 percent of average. Current water year precipitation is averaging 100 percent of normal across Wyoming.

Sheridan County Conservation District board members got their first look Tuesday night at what District Manager Carrie Rogazcewski called a, quote, “very preliminary” budget for the year that starts July 1.
