The library budget for the year that starts on July 1 is down from the current year's budget according to figures presented by Library Director Cameron Duff at Wednesday night's library board meeting.

Story residents, and others, questioned the need for a flashing white light on a tower in Story since the existing red tower lights meet the requirements of both Sheridan County and the Federal Aviation Administration.

Sheridan County commissioners have tabled a contract with Colorado-based Christi Rolston for archival services, to allow time to seek requests for proposals from other companies, including local companies, for the work.
