Sheridan County

County road and bridge crews will likely be busy through Saturday to repair the worst of the erosion to county roads caused by the recent flooding.

According to the Sheridan County Emergency Management Coordinator Bruce Edwards, areas near the West end of the county are experiencing run-off flash flooding due to the temperature increase. Areas already affected include the Beckton road/Beckton ranch area, and rapid creek roads.

Early Friday morning, firefighters from Sheridan Fire And Rescue, Goose Valley and Big Horn responded to a call of a structure fire on West Brundage Street in downtown Sheridan.

Sheridan Fire and Rescue is currently on scene at a structure fire on Sheridan's West Brundage Street. The only details available now are that the structure is a local business.

According to a representative with MDU, outages along Highway 87 in Sheridan County are estimated to be fixed within two or three hours.

The 2016 Sheridan and Johnson county inductees into Wyoming's Cowboy Hall of Fame will be honored at Sheridan's Holiday Inn at 2 p.m. Feb. 26.
