The Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers Board held a special meeting Monday to consider and ultimately approve a resolution authorizing an application to the state for a Drinking Water State Revolving Loan.

The lightening-caused “Hoss Fire” has grown to 1,000 acres in southern Big Horn County, Montana, burning approximately five miles south of Fort Smith in the Big Horn Canyon National Recreation area in the Northern Rockies.
