The Sheridan County Economic Development Task Force was formed in early 2011 as a means to coordinate economic development efforts between the various organizations that promote the Sheridan area.

Day two of the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee Legislative Forum held Tuesday at the Sheridan City Hall featured presentations from local organizations and businesses to state legislators.

The legislative forum being held at the Sheridan City Hall this week continues today, from 8:30 to 5:30.

The annual Thanksgiving Basketball Classic that raises money for the Lions Club is set for this weekend in Sheridan at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome on the campus of Sheridan College.
